Compact Subsubstations

3Si Eco Power manufactures bespoke compact, package, and mobile substations to suit site-specific conditions. 3Si compact substations come with an array of advantages.

Cast Resin Transformers

3Si Eco Power offers cast resin transformers backed by pioneers in cast resin technology. Our transformers feature both high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage windings.

Special Transformers

We pride ourselves on our ability to design and manufacture a wide range of special transformers tailored to meet unique customer requirements. Our offerings include:

Power Transformers

3Si Eco Power transformers are based on significant design excellence and process excellence. We manufacture power transformers from 3.15 MVA to 16 MVA with voltages up to 36 kV. Depending on customer specifications, power transformers are offered with either off-circuit tap changers or on-load tap changers. We understand and manufacture transformers to help maintain voltage levels within acceptable limits, which is essential for the stable operation of electrical grids. They also support fault management and system protection.

Distribution Transformers

3Si Eco Power designs, manufactures, and supplies a range of distribution transformers for both Indian and international markets. We primarily design and produce energy-efficient transformers to IS 1180 Part 1 – 2014 and IS 2026. We also design and manufacture to other international standards like IEC 60076, BS, and the European Union Eco Design Directive 548/2014 national standards

Fluid Filled

3Si Eco Power designs, manufactures, and supplies a range of mineral oil (ONAN) and fluid-filled (KNAN, LNAN) transformers, both step-up and step-down. High-voltage side from 3.3 kV and up to 36 kV. Low-voltage side from 380 V – 433 V. We can design and manufacture other specific voltages and ratings if required.

Harmonics In Electrical Circuits

What are Harmonics? A finely distributed stator and field windings when operated in a uniform magnetic field of an ideal generator generates pure sinusoidal voltages. The sine waveform would be a perfect one. But in reality it is not possible to have generation of perfect sinusoidal voltages. The reason is in any working AC machines, […]

Improve Your Team – Your Responsibility

Not meeting deadlines. Team is de-motivated. No one takes responsibility and passing the buck is order of the day. Pressure from peers. Frustration. What next??This is the most common scenario with many of us at our work place. As a team leader or the top man of your company it is your responsibility to make […]

K – Rated Transformers – Simplified

We have seen in previous posts how there is increase in non linear loads and in what way they effect the power systems. In a nut shell, because of increase in usage of modern electronic machinery like computers, printers, etc which are non linear in load affecting the fundamental wave shape of currents there by […]

Partial Discharges in Transformers – Simplified

You might have come across while dealing with transformers with the word “Partial Discharge”. Sometimes people ask “have you carried out partial discharge test?”. So let us understand what partial discharge is about in simple words. What are Partial Discharges?  Electrical discharges in insulating media that only partially bridges the insulation between conductors are partial discharges. […]
